Completes all necessary records and reports in a timely and accurate manner. Participates in the interview and hiring process.


Ensure all customer goals are met or exceeded. Provides feedback to site management and to customer on a regular and as needed basis. Makes recommendations to resolve issues and effect improvements to overall process. Actively participates in customer-sponsored programs and meetings. Ensures contract compliance, all special customer goals are met and special requests, and complaints are handled and resolved.


Provides adequate personnel training so as to ensure all facility equipment is operated properly and maintained as prescribed. Responsible for maintenance of specific equipment as assigned by Site management.



Effects inventory integrity by ensuring adherence to procedures and policies regarding receipts, storage and shipments. Assist in physical inventories and in the resolution of inventory discrepancies. Ensures the optimal utilization of space.


Directs the operations of the warehouse team to achieve objectives.


Develops and maintains a productive work team via training and career development, Consistently promotes corporate culture, quality and high performance work teams.



Effects necessary communication and motivation to teammates. Monitors individual performance via observation and review of various productivity reports. Counsels and discipline teammates. Evaluates teammates so as to recommend candidates for promotions, terminations, additional training and/or wage increase. Leads shift meetings.


Promote continuous improvement primarily in warehouse related functions utilizing quality process and participation in High Performance and Self-Directed Work Teams.



Understand and meet all customers' quality goals and indices. Provide direction and coordination to warehouse teams relative to specific quality focus areas. Actively participates in customer quality programs and project teams.


Coordinate all on-site and corporate safety policies and assists in training. Promote safety and security, and maintains a clean, neat and orderly work area.


Establishes and monitors work and manpower schedules. Ensures that the schedules are correctly implemented and that duties are assigned effectively and completed properly. Initiates changes to schedule to ensure objectives are met, including overtime. Actively participates in planning meetings.


Supervises and coordinate unloading, put-away, retrieval and loading of product in a productive, safe manner in accord with established procedures. Verify all required inbound and outbound paperwork with carriers is handled properly.

REQUIREMENTS


3-5 years relevant warehouse experience with personnel supervision experience included.



BS/BA or equivalent, Must pass with satisfactory scores all company administered tests. Must possess strong analytical skills and be a self starter, requiring little supervision. He/she should have excellent communication, interpersonal and motivational skills along with strong PC knowledge, specifically spreadsheets and word-processing.
