Process Technician

PROCESS TECHNICIAN Growing pharmaceutical facility in the NE Section of Columbia is currently seeking a Process Technician to join our dynamic team. This person will be a self-starter with a desire to learn and grow in a fast-paced,high-volume company. The Process Technician is responsible for the routine operation and maintenance for our manufacturing machinery. The Process Technician will: prepare machines for batch filling, monitor machines and support equipment during filling as well as perform shutdown at the completion of batch filling. Perform routine shift checks and maintain accurate documentation of activities to support product disposition. Ideal candidate will have a 2 year technical degree or background with 2+ year's mechanical experience in a manufacturing environment. The applicant should have a background and experience in plastics, extrusion, injection molding and/or aseptic manufacturing. Must have the ability to establish priories and work with little supervision. Must be able to work 12 hour rotating shifts and weekends. Must be able to work in and around the machinery, this includes confined spaces. Prefer hands-on knowledge of: SPC, TPM; PdM and other continuous improvement principles.
