Operations Supervisor

We currently have an opening for an Operations Supervisor in our Detroit, MI market.

The major responsibilities for this position include:
- Oversee non-exempt warehouse employees
· Manage department performance through motivation, coaching, and monitoring
· Manage and evaluate facility and workflow operations
· Building internal and external relationships through exceptional problem solving, ownership, and follow through
· Establishing and meeting/exceeding department service goals
· Ensuring prompt and accurate completion of all service requests by customers
· Interfacing and coordinating with customer service and account management
· Communicating effectively with employees regarding operational or other changes
· Assisting in facility tours
- Oversee facility safety and security initiatives

REQUIREMENTS
Qualified applicants will have at least 2-3 years of prior experience as a supervisor in a service environment. They must be able to successfully pass pre-employment drug testing.

In addition, applicants should be computer proficient, able to communicate with customers, able to complete paperwork accurately and completely, understand the importance of detail and accuracy and be able to demonstrate understanding for the importance and value of customers.

A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required. BS/BA preferred.
