Field Services Location Administrator/Storeroom Attendants

Ryder is currently seeking a Field Services Location Administrator/Storeroom Attendants who will typically dedicated to one logistics account and is responsible for the timely and accurate disposition of all customer service related activities including but not limited to Plug-In availability search, ordering, receiving, stocking, staging, shipping, returns, inventory control and cycle counting, systems interface and the delivery of Plug-In and supplies in compliance with safety requirements, customer quality service levels and cost commitments. Must be able to operate effectively in a minimally supervised environment, maintain high customer-service level requirements with Primary FSL, the customer, and quickly master customer’s software systems to be able to accurately transact plug movement. Other duties include, but are not limited to, record keeping, housekeeping, loading and unloading of cable and general merchandise, fork lift operation, equipment inspections, vehicle maintenance and strict adherence to all applicable BellSouth procedures and policies. All FSLA/RSA are expected to maintain a sense of urgency as they work, follow all safety rules, follow all documented work procedures and consistently perform any assigned duties. 24/7 on call duty (respond to FSL location to ship emergency requests whenever needed) is required as well as timely response to all calls.

Education/Experience/Skills/Required Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent is required with a preference to have an Associates or Bachelors degree. One to five years experience in logistics, transportation, warehouse, customer service/call-center environment or industry related field is preferred. Must possess excellent written, verbal, and organizational skills, have a high attention to detail, be able to multi-task effectively, and be able to quickly make educated decisions on product sourcing and transportation. Proficiency in MS Office is necessary, particularly MS Excel. Must be able to learn and master customer’s software systems quickly. Must be available for On-Call duty, 24/7. Must be able to deliver customer material, with reliable personal transportation, to a defined region during normal business hours and after hours.
