*Responsible for procurement of materials, services, and supplies at the lowest cost consistent with consideration of quality, reliability of source and urgency of need.
*Supervises preparation of orders and follows up to expedite delivery and shipment.
*Obtains certification of delivery and conducts checks against orders.
*Negotiates or assist with contract negotiations and implementation.
*Analyzes market and industry conditions / material costs and develops supply recommendations and/or reduce cost.
REQUIREMENTS
BA/BS in procurement/logistics or related field.
3-5 years previous business experience, preferably in procurement / logistics or related field.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational skills.
Strict attention to detail.
Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
High analytical ability with teaming and negotiation skills highly desirable.
Proficiency in MS Office and SAP desired.
