Assistant Warehouse Manager

FCA/DCCI Background:
FCA, Inc. is an established family owned and operated flooring and interior furnishings business serving Chicago’s western suburbs for 30 years. The FCA Network delivers sales in excess of $100 million dollars annually through over 50 full service company owned, franchised and licensed retail outlets.

Job Duties:
The core responsibility of this position is to negotiate through client's homes will large pieces of furniture. The person in this position is one of the last FCA employees that customers will be in contact with. It is crucial that this employee will leave the customer with a great impression of FCA.

Other duties and responsibilities include:
•Responsible for the proper receiving, tagging inspecting and counting of all material entering the warehouse including UPS, RPS and any daily distributors
•Unloading of material delivered by outside vendors
•Prepare product orders for delivery, customer and installer pick-ups one day in advance of the material scheduled departure date
•Coordinate any last minute or special delivery requirements.
•Maintain and order sufficient levels of inventory sold at the DCCI.
•Assist in building maintenance issues.
•Keep proper inventory of all merchandise and assist in the monthly inventory process.
•Remain in constant communication with the other FCA store location Warehouse Managers and assist with any request in regard to inventory related requests.

REQUIREMENTS
•MUST POSSESS FURNITURE DELIVERY EXPERIENCE
•Ability to lift 60+ pounds
•3+ years of experience preferred
•Ability to listen, think, teach and lead
•Shall pass drug tests
•Shall pass the background check
