Transportation Planner

Purpose: National transportation consulting and planning firm, headquartered out of McLean, is looking for a entry level or junior transportation planner to add to their consulting team in their Leesburg, VA location.

Candidates will be responsible for a wide variety of tasks with exposure to more and more facets of the transportation industry as time goes on. Initial duties will involve traffic study analysis, proposal writing and submittals, traffic signal drafting and design, and traffic modeling.

Qualified candidates must have a Bachelors degree or higher, ideally in civil engineering or urban planning. A focus in transportation is always a plus. 2-4 years of work in the transportation industry, ideally planning and consulting, would be highly preferred. Knowledge of AutoCAD, Microsoft Office,
