Accenture is opening a delivery center in San Antonio that will provide business process outsourcing services to clients in Texas and around the world. The center will employ approximately 350 professionals, bringing the number of Accenture employees in Texas to nearly 3,500.

The Technology Management Lead is responsible for overseeing three types of activities:

1. Execution Architecture: Designs, builds, and tests the underlying technology services needed by business applications including Integration Architecture (e.g. error handling, messaging, connectivity, capacity planning and performance testing).

2. Development Architecture: Designs, builds and tests the developer tools that would be used by coders (e.g. requirements tools, code shells, version management, configuration management tools).

3. Operations Architecture: Designs, builds, and tests the tools and processes needed to support operational services of program environments and business applications. (e.g. monitoring, management and analysis)

Key responsibility areas include SAP/BASIS, Database Administration, Unix Administration, IT Security and Infrastructure.

Other Responsibilities:

•Management of the Development personnel
oManages schedule, budget and staffing for assigned projects
oPersonnel development of Technology Team members
oProvide mentoring, coaching and professional development for staff
oEnsure that all team members are receiving performance feedback (quarterly, annual, etc)
oTeam morale/ employee satisfaction
oTechnology personnel training/education/development relationships.
oActive participation in community events

•Management Technology operations
oApproves Technology Service Level Agreements and measures progress against established metrics (financial/deliver
oApproves proposed changes to Service Level Agreements and metrics for impact to the Technology Team.
oResponsible for Technology based processes and standards (policies and procedures
oEnsures that all deliverables created in compliance with methodologies and processes for all phases of the work: planning, design, development and testing
oCoordinates activities with other stakeholders and manages the technology development life cycle to meet business and technical requirements.
oProvides Technology Infrastructure design expertise in alignment with business and technology strategy.
oManaging prioritization and escalation of Technology based service requests
oPromote continuous improvement

•Support value creation activities
oSupport the Delivery Center Lead with service delivery - planning, budgeting, staffing, personnel development, etc.
oKey Delivery Center representative for marketing and sales activities
oDemonstrate and promote client service attitude within group.
oParticipate in the Accenture wide Technology organization to ensure that SATDC is on the leading edge of technology
oPromote internal / external customer satisfaction and build strong customer

REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications

•7 or more years experience in managing IT technology organizations
•Extensive knowledge of computer hardware architectures including at least 3 of the following:
- Client / Server Architectures (SAP/Oracle)
- E-Mail Systems, Mainframe
- Microsoft suite of products,
- Internet and Intranet environment
- NetCentric technologies
- System Operating Systems (Mainframe, Windows, Unix)
- Infrastructure Hardware technologies

•Bachelors degree in Information Technology or 4 additional years of IT experience
