Sales Executive

Stevens Transport, Inc  a premier carrier of refrigerated goods is looking for an experienced  Sales  Executive to join our team  in Dallas, Texas. The Account Executive will act as client’s advocate during the development of solutions; work with operations and pricing groups to develop pricing and proposal, reviews proposals with clients, negotiate pricing and advise client during decision-making process.  The right person will have the following qualifications and knowledge: 
* 5 years related sales experience in  transportation of OTR goods to include, refrigerated, dry, and flatbed freight  for company drivers, owner operators, brokerage departments, and successful third-party history
* Ability to attract, secure and develop new business opportunities
* Solid sales and transportation knowledge with proven track record
* Ability to deliver effective communications
* Business experience to obtains client’s commitment and agreement to proceed
* Extensive OTR carrier rate and contract negotiations experience
* Proven Closer
* A strong network of contacts in the transportation industry
* Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain customer relationships
* Poses the maturity and discipline to work effectively with a minimum of supervision
* Maintain existing accounts to satisfy all Key Performance Indicators for each individual business plan
* Ability to travel up to 50% and maintain travel and entertainment budgetPerformance Skills* Planning and prioritizing
