Mainframe Channel Delivery Analyst Developer

Our Credit Card Services Web Channel Development Team is expanding in order to continue to provide outstanding business and customer support to our Payments Business, a top-10 credit card issuer in the United States. The team is located at our Brookfield, WI facility. We are looking for individuals with strong mainframe technology skills and an aptitude for new technologies as we invest in future web based solutions.

This position will initially focus on mainframes services that provide data to various U.S. Bank customer service channels such as web. It could potentially grow into object oriented development as well.Job Requirements
While we expect that you’ll possess a strong basic skill set, including excellent communication and people skills, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team or independently, we also require:

Strong technical, logical, analytical and problem solving skills with an emphasis on mainframe technologies

Comprehensive understanding of the data processing environment and its impact on client business functions is critical

Our integrated card systems team enjoys a very strong, direct relationship with the business line. Strong planning, organizational, interpersonal, and verbal and written communication skills are needed in this production support role

Demonstrated an ability to work as part of a project team which possesses a wide range of skills in support of diverse business systems and sub-systems. Emphasis will be placed on the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC), infrastructure components and environment

Five plus years experience in COBOL, DB2, CICS, JCL, SQL and CA7

A strong understanding of Relational DB modeling and data-driven design as well as previous production support, call center application and credit card systems experience is a plus. Additionally, experience in Java/J2EE, Visual Studio, .NET, C#, ASP, ASP.NET programming, SQL Server 2000, SQL, HTML, XML, MQSeries and/or Tibco a plus.
