We are dedicated to eliminating risk, enhancing disaster preparedness and ensuring recovery whenever and wherever needed. We accomplish this by operating over 50 dedicated data protection facilities in the United States and by providing online systems incorporating disaster recovery planning, personnel security maintenance, and full request/change support for tape management systems.
We currently have an opening for a Transportation Service Specialist in our Wauwatosa, WI. office. This position has responsibility for driving trucks / vans and coordinating the delivery/pick-up of customer’s media in a courteous and professional manner.
The major responsibilities for this position include:
* Primary and back up driving responsibilities on all routes providing delivery/pick-up of media containers in agreement with customer requirements.
* Ensuring high-quality customer service and professional communication and interaction with customers and internal employees.
* Understanding and practicing safe driving standards.
* Utilizing mobile communication equipment in a safe and practical way following company policies and standards.
* Responsible for stacking, loading and unloading media as required at both company and customer locations with the use of dollies and hand trucks.
* Utilizing bar code scanner technology as required with our inventory systems.
* Completing delivery and pick-up paperwork appropriately by obtaining appropriate customer signatures and forwarding documentation for billing and filing purposes.
* Completing route, activity, and vehicle inspection checklists as required.
* Utilizing production-tracking software for inputting and tracking of all media/container processing and payroll hours.

Compensation begins at $11.00 per hour and will be commensurate with skill level and experience. Compensation includes base pay, overtime and the opportunity for a quarterly bonus.

REQUIREMENTS
Qualified applicants will be at least 21 years of age, be able to demonstrate safe/efficient-driving skills, possess an excellent driving record and a valid driver’s license. In addition, applicants should have a general knowledge of Milwaukee and its surrounding areas, be computer proficient, able to communicate verbally with customers, able to complete paperwork accurately and completely, understand the importance of detail and accuracy, and be able to demonstrate understanding for the importance and value of customers. Qualified applicants must have the ability to lift up to 60lbs and be available to work morning, weekends and weekdays also being available for evenings if needed. Looking at a 4 day on 3 day off position as one option for this full time position.
A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
