Training Manager

The Training Manager will plan, organizes, and directs a wide range of training activities for the Supports for Independence staff. Defines operating objectives and training plans to meet short and long term goals; coordinates learning process; creates a positive learning environment; Performs needs assessment to assure that training fulfills agency needs, objectives and relevant compliance issues.
REQUIREMENTS


SKILLS: • Deal with people in a manner which shows sensitivity, tact, and professionalism • Excellent interpersonal skills to lead and manage • Excellent written and oral communication skills • Supervise others by assigning/directing work; coordinating and scheduling staff training and development • Develop, establish or cause an idea or work product to come into existence • Customized curriculum development EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: A Bachelors degree. Through knowledge of management practices, training theory, organizational behavior, curriculum development, and training resources. Prefer a minimum of 3 years of related training experience.
