Senior Training Specialist

Division#: 43-0020Division Name: Center for Employee DevelopmentJob Categories: TrainingJob Responsibilities: Managing training development and implementation projects. Consulting with MAXIMUS leadership and clients to assess training needs and design training programs and curricula. Working with Subject Matter Experts to develop training and performance support in print and electronic format. Delivering training programs in traditional classroom and Web-conference (virtual classroom) technology formats. Evaluating external training programs for purchase or licensing. Building strong relationships with internal training sponsors and external clients. Performing other duties and special projects as assigned. Travel required 25 - 40%.Education/Experience Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university required; graduate degree in instructional design, adult learning theory and practice, or instructional technology preferred. Five years' experience in designing, developing, delivering and managing formal and informal learning programs. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with all levels of the MAXIMUS and client organizations. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Power Point, and Excel. Proficiency in MS Project and graphics or instructional media applications a plus. Ability to manage multiple projects and to perform comfortably in a deadline-oriented work environment.
