Field Sales Trainer

Responsibilities:
Responsible for training Respironics’ customers (DMEs) throughout the country. The training will consist of several sales training programs created to best fit the customer type. Training will be conducted at the customers’ sites across the U.S. as well as the corporate office in Monroeville, PA.
Must be able to coach and teach both new and tenured sales people to create a learning environment where all types of experience levels will benefit.
Coordinate, plan, and train specific sales training programs to Respironics, Inc. key customers throughout the nation.
Coordinate and communicate with account managers, corporate trainers, and administrative personnel as needed.
Conduct and facilitate sales training sessions at regional or national training meetings, as well as the home office.
Review and recommend revisions in Respironics, Inc. selling skills training programs for the customer, including formats, training media, locations, and ongoing training requirements.
Team with and provide support to the Marketing department with production of marketing materials and tactical pieces.
REQUIREMENTS
Requirements:
B.A. or B.S. required.
Prior sales training is a must. Adult learning/training is desired.
Experience with different sales training modules is desired, preferably in the medical industry.
70-75% travel.
Must be able to lift and carry audio/visual aids and product material.
The ideal candidate must have good organizational skills, be detail oriented, accept high responsibility/accountability, and be able to have a flexible work schedule and be committed to putting the customers’ demands first.
Present methodologies and presentations suited to the characteristics and needs of the audience.
Keep the audience engaged and create a positive, learning environment.
Must be a team player and be able to build strong working relationships with customers and internal personnel.
The candidate must be flexible with his/her schedule and be accountable and responsible for many training sessions throughout the country.
