District Leader-South Carolina
Responsible and accountable for driving district-wide business results through the effective coaching of Store Managers in the key areas of retail revenue growth, managing expenses, store experience, marketing execution, and developing people.Also responsible for providing communication between the district and appropriate Rhino leadership regarding business initiatives, company sales, service, performance standards, and goals.QualificationsDuties:• Ensure the implementation of Human Resource programs within the district, including the selection, recruitment, training, development and evaluation and retention of qualified Store Managers.
• Conduct shrink and employee relations investigations and handle employee issues to ensure compliance with laws and Company policies, as well as safeguard Company assets, involving regional resources as needed.
• Maximize revenue through ensuring store employees and product within district reflects the diversity of the community.
• Conduct regularly scheduled store visits according to established company guidelines to ensure quality, consistency, and compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards.
• Support and enforce effective execution of service models and strategies with focus during peak business periods to achieve service standards and sales goals.
• Ensure quality, consistency, and compliance with company policies, procedures and store standards for appearance within district.
• Analyze stores' financial data and partner with the Store Managers to take action to maximize revenues and control costs at or better than budget.
• Ensure that all loss prevention and shrink procedures are adhered to and that district specific shrink targets are achieved.
• Ensure that all marketing and merchandising training programs are supported and certification in all programs is achieved by all employees.
• Meet deadlines in a timely and accurate manner.
• Conduct regular district meetings with store management. Attend meetings in the region, area, and at corporate, as required.
• Effectively communicate at all levels of the organization.Requirements:• High School diploma or equivalent and 5+ years management experience preferred or 4 year degree and 2-3 years management experience.
• Retail sales/customer service experience preferred.
• Multi-unit experience preferred.
• Ability to manage others.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
