and external customers. Responsibilities include maintaining large dynamic
networks through diagnosing network related problems to resolution.
Applicant
must be task oriented and able to work under defined processes and
timetables.Protocol Knowledge in Frame Relay & IP Physical Layer circuit testing
(56K, T1, Fractional T-1 & DS3)
Knowledge of DDS testing, Channelized, Fractional, and T-1 circuits,
associated
Network configurations & topologies. Associated Hardware experience.Excellent multitasking,interpersonal & communications(Verbal and
Written)skills
Windows based computer proficient.
Must be capable of working weekends & shift-work.Competence Required
Receive, analyze, monitor & resolve network problems in a timely fashion
with minimal guidance from more senior technicians or supervisor.
Education: High school or equiv. plus 2 years formal
electronics training or equiv knowledge through experience. Associate
degree in related field preferred. Minimum 2 yrs related
telecommunications experience or 1 yr as NOS with satisfactory or better
performance or Associates' degree in related field plus 2 yrs industry
experience.
