This is a sales position. Upon attainment of 100% of annual sales objective, an additional $39.650 can be earned.





Responsible for generating sales of company systems and services in named accounts, specific industry or assigned geographic territory. Contacts/visits existing and prospective customers. Builds and maintains network of colleagues, partners, and customers to share information and obtain prospects. Observes and participates in presenting products and services that can benefit customer's needs. Demonstrates knowledge of the organization's entire product line; may have more in-depth knowledge on a subset of products or services.
JOB REQUIREMENTS


The Account Executive II-National Accounts (AE) will be responsible for the expanded growth and retention of existing Embarq customers in the Enterprise and Government markets segment. Customers are defined as significant revenue producing in our local footprint but headquartered outside of our local branch deployment. The AE will be expected to take a consultative sales approach with a focus on strategic solutions and matrix manager the customer's life cycle and must have the ability to negotiate contracts, create and articulate value propositions, present customer network solutions and make technical presentations is required.





The AE must be able to work with clients, understand their business processes, quickly identify inefficiencies and then clearly articulate how a defined solution solves business requirements. The AE will understand strategic issues, identify opportunities, solve business problems and build solutions based on customer enterprise requirements. In addition, the AE must be able to evaluate and articulate the financial implication of the solution to Sprint and the customer. Strategic account planning and domestic solutions are essential, as well as Local Telecom Division product knowledge.





The AE must have some background in handling Government Accounts. This AE will be located in or around the Washington D.C. area.
