Capture Manager

eKohs, Inc. is currently seeking a Federal Business Capture Manager.The Capture Manager will provide guidance to senior level client service professionals in new business acquisition and current client retention through the creation, development, and production of effective capture goals and strategies, including proposals development oversight, executive opportunity qualification presentations, and other sales leadership.Location for this position is Vienna, VA.
Major roles and responsibilities include:
- Identity potential opportunities that Verizon Business Federal should consider.- Lead capture and problem solving solution for major opportunities presented to VzB in order to close new business.
- Develop solution to include working with the team to establish win themes
- Work effectively with all business functions and service areas to bring best possible solution
- Include appropriate resources in a matrixed environment as needed to win new business
- Assist in the management of a bid and proposal schedule and budget
- Provide guidance and direction for orals presentations
- Act as a subject matter expert for sales capture from pre-proposal to orals presentation
- Ensure interaction between core proposal team members and involve SMEs to provide a well-rounded pool of resources to develop a winning solution
- Work with account leaders to determine key resources
- Work with account leaders to address and manage engagement of potential subcontractors
- Help to coordinate all necessary internal evaluations and discussions.Requirements
- 5 + years of proven leadership in the development of winning solutions in the public sector and/or related experience managing capture portions of a sales cycle for large, multi-million dollar procurements
- Prior experience in a large professional services environment preferred
- Bachelors degree required, advanced degree preferred
- Exceptional project management and people management skills
- Excellent communications and presentation skills
- Ability to acquire needed resources for the capture team
- Experience in oversight and direction of all aspects of major assigned opportunities through opportunity award
- Ability to work with people at all levels; be a team player
- Ability to work in a demanding, competitive environment
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently under pressure
- Ability to interact effectively with individuals at every level
- Ability to negotiate sometimes conflicting demands
