Top five ranked Architectural Design and Planning firm specializing in a diverse range of exciting and challenging design projects, actively seeks detail and results oriented Senior Architectural Drafter or Job Captain for our Sacramento based office.
Successful candidates for this Architectural Drafting / Job Captain position must be highly proficient with recent version of AutoCAD or Architectural Desktop and have a minimum of 3 years of Architectural Drafting / Construction Document Production experience working within an architectural or engineering environment. Candidates must be well versed in Architectural Construction Document / Working Drawing production and the ability to modify or originate detailed architectural drawing based on Project Architect hand sketches and/or verbal instruction. Candidates can have Architectural experience pertaining to any type of building projects such as Commercial, Institutional, Education, Retail, Mix-Use, Mid-Rise, Multi-family Residential, Corporate Office, or Industrial projects. Bachelors degree in Architecture or related field is a plus, but not required. Candidates must have professional U.S. project experience.
This Senior Architectural Drafter / Job Captain will assist in all phases of our Architectural projects from conception through completion. Will work directly with Licensed Project Architect aiding in project design development, construction document production, consultant coordination, client interaction, construction administration, code review, site visits, ect. Drafter will be primarily assisting with our K-12 Education, Healthcare, Corporate, and Civic design projects.
