The tradition of caring which culminated in the establishment of Corona Regional Medical Center began in 1933, with the founding of Corona Community Hospital. Since that time the hospital has changed to meet the needs of the rapidly growing community. In 1992 Corona Community Hospital merged with Circle City Medical Center, and the resulting entity became Corona Regional Medical Center. Position Summary Reporting to the Director of Critical Care Services this position is responsible for observing, documenting, and reporting cardiac rhythms of adult and geriatric patients on telemetry. Able to provide same care for patients throughout the life span, from infancy through late adulthood.
Position Requirements Current BCLS (CPR) required. Knowledge of medical terminology. Minimum 6 months acute hospital experience on a telemetry unit required. Ability to exercise phone etiquette and computer skills. Verbal and written communication skills. Prior experience as a telemetry tech with 12 Lead and/or arrhythmia class preferred.
