Landscape Architect

Purpose: Position: Landscape Architect Location: Sacramento Salary: $40K-$50K/yr DOE + Health Benefits, Bonuses, Paid Vacation/ Holidays, ect.

Highly respected and national multidisciplinary design firm with over 300 employees on staff, including engineers, planners, landscape architects, surveyors and administrative support staff actively seeks talented and experienced Landscape Architect to join our Sacramento office.

Successful candidates for this Landscape Architect opportunity will have a Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture or strongly related field experience and proficient working knowledge of recent AutoCAD versions. This candidate must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to thrive in a team oriented environment. Candidates must also be familiar with Micrsoft Word, Excel, Photoshop, and or sketch-up.

This Landscape Architect?s job responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- The preparation of presentation graphics for hearings and meetings
- Autocad Drafting
- Preparing Schematic, Design Development and Construction Document packages.
- Organization of digital files and libraries.
- Assisting Project Designer with preparation of plan documents.
- Assisting with obtaining necessary data to complete design.
- Maintain and organize all project related documentation: original plans, computerized data and files
- Assisting with preparation of Bid documents/specifications
- Assisting with preparation of construction cost estimates/quantity takeoffs.
- Assisting with obtaining permit/jurisdictional approvals.
- Assisting with soliciting information from local jurisdictions.
- Assisting with construction administration
