Constrution Manager

Job Description The Construction Manager reports directly to the Director or higher position and is generally responsible for the day-to-day management of community specific planning, entitlement, land development, merchant builder sales, marketing and operations programs from acquisition through community close.





Qualifications

Bachelor of Science or Arts degree with emphasis in either engineering, architecture, planning, public administration, business administration, law or real estate. Five years in a responsible position of project planning, design and/or processing with a public agency; consulting engineering, planning or architecture firm; building construction contracting or a land development firm. Minimum of two years experience involving agency presentations and preparation of community development cost estimates. Five years of full time work experience following college graduation. Must be able to communicate effectively and concisely, both verbally and in writing. Advanced PC skills, including use of Excel spreadsheets. Must have a problem-solving desire/orientation and be able to deal with complex problems in an efficient manner leading to management decisions and recommendations.
