Sr. Research Associate

Purpose: Description We seek a highly motivated research associate/senior research associate to support
our cell biology efforts in the oncology program. This individual will play a key
role in assessing cellular activity and specificity of candidate compounds. This
individual will be involved in optimizing and implementing cell-based assays. As
a member of a multidisciplinary team, he/she will work closely with team
members to identify, characterize and advance compounds through research and
preclinical development.

Requirements

The position requires a BS/MS in cell biology or related field with 3-5 years of
experience with cell-based functional assays and cell culture. The successful
candidate will have a strong cell biology background including experience
working with suspension and adherent cancer cell lines and data analysis.
Experience with mammalian primary cells is a plus. Fluency in basic molecular
biology techniques (cloning, PCR, etc...) and FACS is a plus. Good
communication skills, flexibility and the desire to work within a multidisciplinary
team are also required. The successful candidate must be able to work
independently and be a good team player
