Senior Project Manager - CCI

Senior Project Manager for our Construction group, Environmental division. This position is for both commercial and government projects.

The Project Manager (PM03) manages small to large size projects having increasing value and contribution to the firm over the PM02 level and is accountable as defined below:

DETAILS:
The Senior Project Manager (PM03) is the leader/manager of project teams and is supported by technical task leaders as needed. Specific responsibilities include leadership in the application of CH2M HILL’s Project Delivery System to achieve the following project delivery strategic objectives:

Health, safety, environmental responsibility
Client expectations for quality, schedule, and budget
Financial performance for project-specific targets
Project team expectations
Operational performance and business unit expectations
Quality
Specific duties include planning, staffing, scheduling, budget management, quality control, safety, and coordination of subcontractors and internal technical and support staff. The PM03 is a participant in project decisions regarding technical approaches, cost and scheduling, and performance. Additionally, the PM03 is responsible for the identification of schedule and cost variances and the development and implementation of recommendations for corrective action for negative variances.

The PM03 also has a responsibility to help grow the PM resources of the firm through coaching of PM01s and PM02s, and participating in the development and delivery of PM-oriented learning events.




job Requirements


Basic Qualification:

BS or MS in Construction Management, Environmental or Engineering from a US accredited college or university.

A minimum 10 years experience. Must have both commercial and government experience.

Engineering projects many require a PE.

Must have good computer skills.

Preferred Qualification:

Serving in the project manager role on engineering projects may require a Professional Engineer’s license.

Certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) by the Project Management Institute or as a Certified Construction Manager (CCM) by the Construction Management Association of America (or approved equivalents) is expected but not required.
10 to 15 years of relevant experience.

Both commercial and goverment expereince required.

MS Project or Primavera experience preferred.

Background check and drug test required.
