Psychologist- SFSH

GEO Care, Inc. is a wholly owned subsidiary of The GEO Group, Inc. GEO is a premier provider of behavioral healthcare and other special needs services to state and local government agencies including management and treatment services for forensic and civil mental health hospitals, long-term care and geriatric centers, sex offender and other special needs facilities. Currently, we have an opening at our South Florida State Hospital location for a Psychologist.

The Psychologist is responsible for providing individual and group psychotherapy; staff education on psychological issues as needed; conducts psychological evaluations and psychological testing., The Psychologist is responsible for developing; monitoring and implementing behavioral management plans as well as assigned responsibilities for quality assurance monitoring & supervises psychology interns and students in individual and group supervision. The Psychologist is an active member of the treatment team.
REQUIREMENTS
The successful candidate must have a Ph.D. or Psy.D. in clinical psychology from an accredited university and current license as a Psychologist in the State of Florida are required. The selected candidate must be skilled in organization, supervision, and state of the art treatment interventions. Must be able to pass background investigation, drug screen and medical evaluation.
