Metals Chemist

Purpose: This company is North America's leading provider of environmental and hazardous waste management services. This company is currently looking for a Metals Chemist for their Kimball, NE location.

The Metals Laboratory Chemist is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the metals laboratory. This includes all QA/QC, instrument maintenance, sample analyses and on-time reporting. This position reports directly to the Chemical Operations Manger.

This position requires a bachelor's degree in chemistry or a science related field and three years of related metals experience, including sample preparation (incl. Microwave digestion) and analysis by ICP, CVAA. AA and GFAA. Candidate must have an OSHA 40 hr certification. Prior personnel supervision and NELAC experience are a plus. Knowledge of EPA and ASTM methodologies for wastes, water and soil analyses are required.
