Health & Safety Manager

Purpose: Fortune 300 company specializing in the manufacturing of brass plumbing, piping, fixture, and fitting products has an immediate career opportunity for a Health & Safety Manager. The H&S Manager will develop, implement, and administer policies and programs to establish and promote maintenance of safety, environmental compliance and healthy working conditions within the company. Will also ensure company facilities and practices are in compliance with government and corporate safety and environmental regulations and minimize exposure to environmental hazards. Individual will oversee 2 facilities with a total of 650 employees.

Qualified candidates will possess 3+ years of Health & Safety experience. Preferably within a manufacturing environment. All candidates are require to be Bilingual (English/Spanish). A Bachelors degree is preferred but not required. Thorough knowledge of safety policies, practices, and procedures and hazardous material handling and emergency response procedures is mandatory. Must have strong understanding and knowledge of Cal-OSHA policies and regulations.
