Food Scientist

Purpose: A Growing Food Services Company in Chicago is looking for a Food Scientist to help bring new products to market. This is a new position within the R&D group that is experiencing strong growth within the market. New product development is a main responsibility, but this individual will also contribute to the modification and improvement of existing products as well.

Candidates with a background in Food/Beverage Science, specifically in New Product Development, nutrition analysis, instrumentation, and applicable technologies is required. Individuals need to have strong lab and instrument skills, as well as be an impact person. This is a contract-to-hire position and thus, individuals must be ready to contribute immediately. The contract portion is slated to run a duration of six months.
