Field Geologist

Purpose: Global Environmental Consulting firm seeks a Field Geologist with at least 1 year of related experience to become a part of a winning team.

The ideal candidate will have his/her own truck for traveling purposes. The candidate should be familiar with well water, groundwater, and soil sampling procedures.

Job Skills Requirements:
- BS in Geology, or Environmental Sciences
- At least 1 year of relevant experience
- Occasional travel is required
- OSHA 40-Hr. HAZWOPER training is desirable
- Valid driver's license required
- Technical report writing skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize several assignments at one time.

Primary Job Duties:
The Field Geologist will be responsible for overseeing drillers, and collecting well samples and soil stockpile samples. There is limited amounts of office work such as report preparation. Majority of the duties will include being out in the field no matter what weather conditions. The candidate will also be required to help manage scheduling issues with the drillers.
