Ecologist

Purpose: Our client, a leader in their industry, is looking for an Ecologist in their Panama City facility. The position requires a Bachelor's or Master's degree in biology or ecology and at least 2 strong years of field experience in the southeastern U.S., preferably Florida. The successful candidate will have practical knowledge of Florida ecology, flora, and fauna. Wetland delineation and wetland regulatory permitting experience are required. Ability to work under field conditions in areas of Florida mandatory.

Knowledge of Florida ecology, state and federal wetlands and wildlife regulations, and multiple agency environmental regulatory processes is key. Individual must demonstrate initiative and independence, identify critical path and timeframes, manage multiple priorities, and work well with team members. Experience in managing budgets, interaction with clients and agency personnel, maintaining schedules, and data analysis required.
