DaysPosition Summary: Director of Laboratory.Develops and maintains all laboratory policies, procedures, education, quality control and performance improvement practices. Manages and supervises technical and clerical staff; develops and administers laboratory operational and capital budget. Maintains good physician and interdepartmental relations.General Responsibilities: Director of Laboratory responsible for the technical and administrative operation of the laboratory and the proper performance of all procedures in the clinical laboratory. Responsible for supplies and equipment in the department, for promoting teamwork and customer satisfaction and for appropriate resource management. Responsible for managing departmental productivity. REQUIREMENTS
4 year/Bachelor's Degree, MBA preferred; licensed as a Florida Technologist Supervisor; minimum 5 years experience.
