The individual we are seeking will be working in the area of the Cell Therapy Core Facility which will include blood and marrow stem cell processing, storage and evaluation, collection of peripheral blood stem cells, vaccine production, and other tests of the immuno-hematopoietic system. Incumbent must be able to work independently and will be responsible for all facets of laboratory operation and adhere to the applicable regulations and standards (e.g. cGMP,c GTP, AABB, FACT). Incumbent will also be responsible for answering questions from patients, physicians and nursing staff. Excellent interpersonal skills are necessary.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology or related biomedical science with equivalent experience required. Florida Technologist licensure in Medical Technology required in the following two areas: hematology and immunohematology.
