Keeping with this tradition, we are proud to announce that we are currently recruiting for a Business Manager, Lab Outreach Services.As the Business Manager, Lab Outreach Services, you will be responsible for identifying, planning, and developing growth strategies and marketing of a Laboratory Outreach program on a system-wide basis for the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine in conjunction with the Administrative Director and Senior VP. You will be responsible for assessing the commercial laboratory market and recommending the optimal geographic locations to ensure the financial success of the draw stations, along with marketing laboratory services to potential clients, maintaining existing accounts, and creating relationships that generate profitable streams of revenue back to the Outreach activity, which will include a direct involvement in the organization and direction of the courier services. In this position you will also be responsible for managing the activities of Laboratory Outreach Program employees, which includes assessing the competency of staff, assuming responsibility for scheduling, performance evaluations, coaching, disciplinary actions, transfers, promotions, terminations, salary adjustments, hiring and training of new employees.The qualified candidate will have a MA/MS in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field and a BS in Medical Technology with a minimum of three years clinical laboratory experience and a minimum of one year previous health care marketing experience.
