Associate Scientist (R1-R2)

Project progression Laboratory Scientists in ARD are responsible for laboratory work in support of Research. Development and Parenteral projects for both drug substance (including raw materials and intermediates) and drug product. Job responsibilities may include HPLC method development and validation for purity, potency, identity, and dissolution methods; Isolation and identification of impurities; Physical-Chemical characterization of API; Stability and release testing; Direct interaction with project team members, including presenting data at project team meetings; Critical review of data; Active involvement in solving technical challenges that arise during product development; Preparation of technical documents such as test procedures, test notes, and stability reports; and Evaluation of new instrumentation or analytical techniques.
REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND:
MINIMUM: BA/BS (Chemistry)
DESIRABLE: MS (Chemistry) relevant experience

WORK EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:
MINIMUM: BA/BS in Chemistry with undergraduate research experience.appropriate timelines to meet project milestones under general supervision, manage expectations for specific projects, ensure delivery of technology/transfer/submission-ready technology, data and documents. Experience in problem-solving skills and instrument trouble-shooting. Demonstrated oral and written communication skills, especially adherence to laboratory notebook practices. Experience with a wide-variety of software and information systems.Working knowledge of statistics
DESIRABLE: BS/MS in Chemistry with 2-4 years industrial experience in a GMP lab environment as well as a working knowledge of organic chemistry.
