Title: Sr. Account Executive Work Group: Business Markets Group (BMG) Classification: Regular Full-Time Location: 1801 California Street, Denver, CO Typical Work Hours: Employees are scheduled to work at least forty (40) hours per calendar week Job Summary /Responsibilities: In this OUTSIDE SALES position, the Sr. Account Executive is responsible for the entire account acquisition process from initial customer prospecting through service implementation (including cold calling, prospecting, proposal generation, contract negotiations, credit approval, etc.) in order to meet and exceed monthly revenue objectives. Primary responsibilities include: Meet and exceed monthly revenue quotas. Maintain high activity standards (prospecting, cold calls, number of appointments per week, etc.). Manage prospect funnel accurately and effectively. Accurately forecast and report monthly sales. Identify and qualify prospects by telephone, cod call premise visits, and networking. Increase market penetration in assigned territory by securing new customers, winning back former customers, and developing business within existing accounts. Build relationships with clients/prospects, as well as internal departments Resolve past customer issues and be customer advocate for service issue resolution. Maintain current industry and market knowledge. Strategically sell a full product line of domestic and international voice, data and wireless products. REQUIREMENTS
3-5 years of Telecom sales experience 1-2 years of outside sales experience in a business to business environment Knowledge of Voice, Data, IPP, VPN, Web Hosting, CPE, Wireless and Long Distance products. Strong PC Skills Proficient in MS Office Applications- Word, Power Point, Outlook, Excel. A valid driver’s license, clean DMV record and automobile insurance. Availability for some overnight travel required (15% within assigned territory). Preferred Qualifications, Skills and Education: Proven track record of meeting and exceeding quota. Strong prospecting abilities. Aggressive follow up and closing skills. Sales territory and management skills. Demonstrated success in a changing and high-paced environment. Strong presentation skills. 4 year College degree or equivalent business experience. Prior CLEC or RBOC direct sales experience. Take the next step to a great career with Qwest!
