Intro:

Job Responsibilities:
This position is accountable for leading cross-functional teams in identifying critical technical issues and problems, and developing and implementing corrective actions for one or more business processes having a business-wide impact. Maximizes program pay back within the program budget, performance and schedule constraints. Directs all planning of and monitors the activities required to meet project goals including completion of deliverables.
Utilizes appropriate quality processes to identify critical technical issues and problems, identifies corrective actions, and follows through to completion.
Establishes project plans, including projections of required resources (time, cost, personnel, facilities and equipment).
Manages within the established performance, schedule and budget constraints.
Performs schedule, cost and critical activity tracking against the project plan.
Manages the relationship between the project team and all functional areas as well as customer contacts critical to the success of the project.
Provides periodic reports of project status and progress to management.
Participates in determining the business plan and project priorities, resource needs and budgets based on the strategic direction.Provides input to functional managers for individual performance planning, including goal setting and performance feedback.
Conducts lean manufacturing training as necessary.
Evaluates and reviews new and current training programs for continuous improvement.
This position requires a four-year degree, preferably in engineering or equivalent experience in engineering, technical sales, or customer service. Cross-functional experience a plus. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication, facilitation and interpersonal skills. The individual in this position must have a strong process mentality, as well as working knowledge of lean principles and concepts. Six Sigma experience a plus. The ability to multi task, work in a fast paced environment and have strong time management skills is a necessity.
