REQUIREMENTS
The primary responsibility of the Fitness Consultant is to sell equipment and handle customers. The majority of the time should be spent with customers--promoting fitness, helping customers select the right equipment, following up with the customer, demonstrating and explaining different pieces of equipment, closing sales, writing sales tickets, scheduling deliveries, setting up equipment etc. When not dealing with customers, the Fitness Consultant is responsible for store maintenance--cleaning, stocking displays etc. The position of Fitness Consultant is first and foremost a sales position.
