Business Banking Manager Rb 2

This is an exciting opportunity to build a team and make a mark in a highly visible, successful group within Wells Fargo Retail Banking. This is a newly created position, and will involve building and managing a team of Business Relationship Managers with credit decisioning authority in a centralized location in San Francisco. Specific responsibilities include:

Promoting the growth of the teams portfolio by implementing marketing and business plans, reviewing the quality of the teams business, and ensuring the loan portfolio remains sound

Reviewing credit limits of Relationship Managers and ensuring all credit decisions are in compliance with policies and standards

Exercising the usual authority of a manager in the hiring, training, motivating and development of team members
Minimum Qualifications


* Minimum Qualifications:Minimum 8 years commercial credit underwriting experience required

Previous business to business/financial services sales experience, including experience coaching and motivating a team of sales professionals

Working knowledge of interpretation of financial statements applied to business accounting and finance principles

Prior experience structuring complex loans up to $3MM, and managing an extensive portfolio of clients

Proven track record as top sales performer

Proficient in Windows based software

Must be flexible, tenacious, and resilient
* Preferred Skills:Prior experience leading and managing the decisions of a team of commercial lenders a strong plus

A college or university degree (finance major) preferred. Bilingual skills a plus
