Aftermarket Sales Manager
Purpose:
Our client, an aerospace company, is looking for an Aftermarket Sales Manager. This person will be responsible for developing new business with air carriers, MRO?s and distributors in both the domestic and foreign market.
On a day to day basis, this person will be responsible for generating new business and achieving sales goals. This person will attain these goals through technical sales, assisting customer's engineers, procurement groups as well as marketing in meeting their needs. In addition, this candidate must be willing to identify, participate and coordinate in various trade shows. This person will directly report to the Director of Sales and Marketing. Position does require up to 40% travel.
To be qualified for this position, individuals should have a BS degree preferably in Engineering. Qualified candidates must also have five or more years of sales experience in the aerospace industry. In addition, this person must have a proven track record of sales dollar growth and new business development. PMA and TSO experience a plus.
Physical Demands:
The employee is regularly required to stand, use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects, tools or controls. The employee frequently is required to walk, bend, stoop, kneel, or crouch and reach with hands and arms, climb or balance.Classification:Contract-to-HireCompensation:
