Food Bag on 77 Greenwood Avenue in Bethel CT is now interviewing for customer friendly smiling faces to join our family of employees. This location is open 24 hours 7 days and has positions available on the 2 pm to 10 pm shift and the 10 pm to 6 am shift. These positions can be worked either full time, working 5 nights, or part time, working 2 or 3 nights per week.Food Bag offers all their employees competitive hourly wages, employee referral incentive awards, company supplied uniform shirts, and advancement opportunities. Full time employees are offered medical benefits, 401k, paid vacations, and paid holidays.Cashiers are hired at an hourly rate and undergo a training period usually not exceeding 3 months, after which time they must successfully pass training certification and will be re-evaluated and recommended for a pay increase. Cashiers are evaluated annually for job performance and additional pay increases.
REQUIREMENTS
Food Bag cashiers should be able to read, write, understand, and speak the English language. They should be able to use a computerized cash register and be responsible for accurate cash flow in and out of the register during their shift. They must be able to move up to 50 lbs and also be able to perform multiple duties during their assigned shift as they pertain to merchandising, maintenance, retailing, security, and safety.
