Goodwill Retail Services Inc. seeks an experienced retail supervisor to support Goodwill's retail operations.

Goodwill started as a small, single location operation. This leading retailer has since grown to 19 stores throughout Wisconsin and Illinois, a multi-million dollar operation with an expanding e-commerce website and an aggressive expansion plan.

The Retail Supervisor will be a member of the Retail Services team and will represent this expanding retailer before associates, donors, customers and the community.

This ambitious, motivated individual will help lead the team at our North Riverside store.

Customers and donors are the Retail Supervisor's top priority. This individual leads teams that provide friendly, immediate service. Whether it's a face to face conversation with a customer or motivating the team to meet customer and donor service goals, this individual drives service excellence.

The Retail Supervisor is also responsible for store and donation center activities and will:

Provide exceptional customer and donor service consistent with the Goodwill brand experience. Promote Goodwill's mission and vision to associates, customers, donors and the community. Complete daily cash and production reports. Follow established store opening and closing procedures. Help operate the store within budgeted expense levels. Motivate staff to meet production and donation center goals. Coordinate and monitor rotation of goods throughout the store.Maintain confidentiality of human resource and sales information. Mediate employee relations issues. Follows established safety rules and regulations; promotes 5-s workplace activities.Suggests process improvement initiatives that increase production and improve quality. Provides associate training in product pricing, donor and customer service merchandising standards.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualified candidates will have a High School Diploma, 2 years prior production or retail experience, one year cashier experience and a passion for providing service excellence. Candidates with prior retail supervisory experience are strongly preferred.
