Retail Specialist - Full TimeBLACK & DECKER is looking for a full time retail sales merchandiser to call on one of its largest customers.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESMaintain merchandising fundamental best practices throughout territory (5 to 10 stores)
Execute monthly store objectives and implement promotional initiativesDrive business at the store level using merchandising and selling skillsBuild strong relationships with key decision makers to ensure complete and timely execution of merchandising initiatives.
Ultimately enhance the image of Black and Decker’s brands at retail level.SUCCESSFUL RETAIL SPECIALISTS POSSESS THE FOLLOWINGStrong understanding of merchandising and retail practices.Understanding of retail store operations.Persuasive in the use of selling skills to achieve desired results.
Displays organizational skills to maximize efficiency during store calls.
Embraces a flexible schedule including some evenings, and occasional overnights and weekends.Demonstrates initiative with the ability to complete tasks without direct supervision.
Demonstrates effective communication skills with all levels of store employees and Black & Decker management.Uses problem solving skills on a daily basis to achieve results.A team player with the ability to work with others to accomplish territory goals.Able to multi-task in a fast paced environment with a willingness to learn new concepts.Shows enthusiasm for labor intensive activities, enjoys working with their hands, and can lift up to 75 lbs.
A task oriented individual with the focus to complete corporate marketing initiatives.Demonstrates attention to detail consistently. REQUIREMENTS
Job Requirements
Must be looking for a full time position (40 hours)Must have reliable transportationBe able to lift up to 75 lbsBe able to climb ladders and down stock merchandiseMust pass Drug, Driving and Criminal Background checks.
Compensation Package
Competitive hourly wage $14.00 - $16.00/hr
Incentive program (Bonus of up to $2,750/yr paid out monthly).
