Saks Fifth Avenue is introducing the world to the first high performance service store. To work at Saks is to be part of the highest echelon of service. Under direction from the Selling Manager, the Sales Consultant is responsible for providing outstanding customer service, building individual sales volume, establishing and maintaining customer relationships, working effectively with other team members and establishing new accounts. The incumbent will also be accountable for consistently demonstrating benchmarked brand filter standards. Key Responsibilities 1. Focus on sales and profitability; maintain customer focus standards, set work pace and deliver on departmental/store goals. 2. Seeks out and approaches customers in and outside of selling area and greets them warmly. 3. Record and maintain all customer information and preferences. 4. Model all Saks Fifth Avenue Service Principles (G-R-E-A-T Standards) 5. All other department initiatives, including but not limited to, selling floor maintenance, semi-annual inventory, and preparation for sale events, as directed by the Selling Manager
REQUIREMENTS
Requirements · High school graduate or equivalent · 1+ years of retail experience preferably in a customer focused environment. Demonstrated successful sales experience exceeding quota required. · Effective interpersonal, verbal and communication skills. · Energy, attention to detail, initiative, and enthusiasm are required. · Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team oriented environment that requires a high degree of multi-tasking with minimal supervision. · All SFA associates are required to work a flexible schedule based on business needs that includes, evenings, weekends and holidays.
