The Corporate Meat and Seafood Department has a opening for a National Commodity Specialist in their Denver, Colorado Division.

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
4 year college degree in Business or equivalent meat/Seafood industry experience.1-3 years buying/merchandising experience.1-2 years retail store experience a plus.A global knowledge of Meat or Seafood industry.Excellent analytical skills.Superior service and team interpersonal skills.Organizational skills to handle many tasks across many divisions while still maintaining service level goals.Strong problem solving skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.High degree of initiative and sense of urgency.Strong computer skills including Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word.Excellent oral and written communication skills. Qualifications: The following are preferred or desired, unless specifically stated:
Forecast quantities and determine requirements for multiple divisions.Monitor store demand and adjust store orders.Manage warehouse inventories across multiple warehouses.Interact with divisions, vendors and transportation to overcome supply and logistics opportunities.Negotiate product costs with vendorsManage firm orders: creation and release.Monitor DSD cost, items and authorization.Provide analysis on category costs, demand and service level.Analyze, interpret and provide insights/conclusions relating to purchasing.Normal workweek will be Wednesday to Sunday
