Reports to:Job Summary:
A National Accounts Manager-Retail is responsible for the sales performance of The Home Depot. They establish sales goals, strategies, and budgets relative to those accounts and assures goal achievement through direct contact with the merchants, regional managers and service managers. Travels extensively to corporate buying offices, store visits, meetings, trade shows and Greenlee Headquarters to maintain focus. Works extensively with logistics, marketing, advertising and the service agencies.Responsibilities to Include:
Develops and implements strategic sales forecasts, plans and goals for assigned key account in order to meet the annual sales goals.
Monitor key account against goals and formulate and review sales strategies and procedures necessary to meet growth and profitability goals.
Direct, manage and motivate manufacturer’s representative organizations to achieve sales goals, including the development of annual Sales & Marketing plans and annual performance reviews.
Communicates with Headquarters in order to keep current on business activity, business conditions, and customer service requirements.
Promotes new programs and products.
Coordinates and works with Marketing Product Managers on product improvements on existing products, new product requirements, and competitive information.
May attend regional and national sales meetings as well as participate in trade shows and trade/association conventions.
Develop and maintain good customer rapport and a positive image.
Maintains current awareness of competitors, competitive product lines and programs.
Completes and submits on a timely basis expense reports, business activity of each assigned account, and key account strategy development.
Performs all duties within the Textron Business Conduct Guidelines.A Textron Company
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelors Degree in Business or related field.Position Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years sales experience with demonstrated achievements in selling products through The Home Depot.License and Certification Requirements:
