Founded in 1981, Crown Bolt has grown to become one of the largest consumer fastener and retail hardware companies in the United States with four strategically placed distribution facilities. Those facilities allow product delivery to any point in the country generally within 24 hours or less.



Position Purpose

Services and maintains all assigned locations according to a set weekly visitation schedule and/or need ensuring the proper mix and amount of product is present according to established SOP.



Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities


Contact receiving department to determine status of incoming order.

Verify and track all product for vendors and customers.

Performs basic maintenance to display.

Organizes and mails all required receiving documents on a weekly schedule.



Nature and Scope


Position reports to: Manager

No direct responsibility for supervising others.



Environmental Job Requirements


Typically located in a comfortable indoor area. There may be regular exposure to mild physical discomfort from factors such as dust, fumes or odors, temperature extremes, loud noise, strong drafts, or bright lights.

Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.



Minimum Qualifications


Must be eighteen years of age or older

Must pass the Drug Test

Must pass the Background Check

Must pass pre-employment tests if applicable



Education Required


The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a high school diplomas and/or GED.



Years of Relevant Work Experience - 1




Physical Job Requirements


Must continuously stand or walk or regularly requires lifting/handling/carrying material or equipment of weight up to 75 pounds



Preferred Qualifications


Start Time for position approx. 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

Experience in Merchandising, handling large number of SKU’s in the fasteners/hardware industry.

Must provide valid Drivers License and Auto Insurance Certification on an ongoing basis.

Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and stand, stoop, and kneel on a daily basis.



Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies


Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Mathematical Skills: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
