Local company needing an organized Kitchen Assistant. This applicant is responsible for the preparation and assembly of ingredients for multiple recipes and for food assembly area to be utilized by outside clientele. This position requires repetitive tasks in the readying of ingredients for the dish and slicing vegetables under the direction of the store Manager. This position may require weighing and measuring ingredients and stirring and straining sauces. Also might cut meats, poultry, and seafood in preparation for food assembly area. Responsibilities also include cleaning of work areas & equipment, utensils, dishes and silverware, greeting customers, talk with them about the services of the company, and assist them during the preparation of entrees. Also assist customers who call via telephone and check out customers using a credit card machine and point of sale. REQUIREMENTS
