As the Food and Beverage Director, you will manage all of the food service operations in our independent and assisted living facilities. You will be required to maintain a high quality and nutrition of food, while meeting corporate financial goals within established budgetary guidelines. You will be responsible for the staff and management of the dining room and kitchen. You will oversee all food ordering and preparation; participate in menu planning; assist in planning budgets, maintaining food costs and labor hours; ensure compliance with all health department regulations; supervise dietary staff in day-to-day kitchen and dining room operations; coordinate food services with other department services. Qualifications
•Must be formally trained in the culinary arts, or have equivalent experience in food service.
•Must have 5 years of management experience in a food service environment.•Demonstrated ability in working within budgetary guidelines.
•Proficient verbal and written communication skills
•Consummate people skills. Exhibits talent at interacting effectively with all types of people.
•Proficient organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
•Expert problem-solver.•Must have the ability to work in a fast paced environment.
•Can define own role, take on responsibilities, and manage priorities with minimal guidance.
