Directs, supervises and participates in the various functions that contribute to the patient food service including trayline menu checking and trayline procedures, cold food preparation, patient tray delivery service, transporting patient trays, dishroom operation, and all sanitation procedures involved in maintaining a clean and effecient food service operation.
REQUIREMENTS
Work requires the ability to read, write and speak English, to follow and/or give oral and written directions, to retain and apply training and instruction, to be able to communicate with patients, hospital personnel and co-workers. This level is nomally acquired through completion of a high school education.High school education and one to two years experience in related food service area required. Basic supervisory experience.
Basic knowledge of nutrition is required to meet patient diet requirements.
