Executive Chef

Unit Description: Sodexho is seeking an Area Executive Chef. This job will require a fair amount of travel to and from accounts mainly in the northeast. This job does not provide a company car but will reimburse for mileage. Responsibilities include training staff on culinary foundations using Sodexho's foundation modules. Will be responsible to work with managers to create cost effective, unit specific menus using the Menu Essentials Program. This person is the team leader on any new opening or account refresh. Will work closely with culinary and retail team with marketing roll out meeting; help assist chefs achieve the vendor compliance goals for their unit; meet with clients to show area support; perform daily essentials audits for District Managers; conduct interviews for incoming chefs in the ara; provide area with knowledge about signage program and IPW ordering systems; need to be able to learn programs at a fast pace.Position Summary:
Provides culinary leadership and expertise for a geographic area. Assists with menu and recipe development. Assists in training culinary staff. Assists in special functions.Typical Knowledge and SkillsPrevious food service experience in a unit. Technical Culinary knowledge. Ability to train staff at all levels.Typical Education
